Glankler Brown, PLLC is pleased to announce that Andre B. Mathis has been named to the Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 class of 2010.
The Top 40 Under 40 class is chosen annually based on exemplary individual achievements in both the business community and in the charitable and civic realms. The honorees will be recognized at a luncheon scheduled for November 12 at Hilton Memphis.
Mathis concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, labor and employment law, criminal defense, administrative law, and general civil litigation. His practice also includes the representation of private clients and municipal entities in insurance defense, insurance coverage, and personal injury. Additionally, Mr. Mathis represents clients in connection with grand jury investigations and clients charged with various criminal offenses. He received his J.D. degree (cum laude) from the University of Memphis, where he also served on the Law Review and the Moot Court Board.
He has received many accolades for his legal skills, including an appointment to the American Inns of Court, and a Board of Directors position with the National Bar Association’s Ben F. Jones Chapter.
Mathis is committed to giving back to the community through many leadership positions, including the Downtown Porter Boys & Girls Clubs (Board of Directors) and North Memphis Community Initiative Network (Board of Directors).
